Meet Jason R. Bourne, DDS, MS
Providing Best In Class Smiles For Both Marysville & Lake Stevens
Dr. Jason R. Bourne grew up in Woodinville, Washington and graduated from Woodinville High School. He then began his studies at the University of Washington, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology.
Dr. Bourne continued his studies at the UW in the School of Dentistry, where he completed his doctoral training, earning his DDS degree. There, he was elected Class President, Student Council President, and received numerous awards and scholarships.
Dr. Bourne’s final training was completed at the orthodontics specialty program at Temple University. There, he earned a Certificate in Orthodontics, and completed his Master’s Thesis, earning him an MS degree in Oral Biology.

Dr. Bourne is constantly involved with continuing education, attending study clubs, seminars, lectures and conferences to remain on the cutting edge of new advances in research, technology, and techniques.
He is also involved in organized dentistry, having served as the head lecturer of the Northwest Chapter of the Seattle Invisalign Study Club, and on the Executive Committee of the Snohomish County Dental Society. Dr. Bourne also frequently lectures to dentists, hygienists and assistants in dental offices around Snohomish County.
Dr. Bourne has also had the honor of being nominated to be a fellow of the prestigious American Academy of General Dentist, and International College of Dentists. He also has served as his class representative for the UW School of Dentistry Alumni Association, and was appointed to serve as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President and President of the UW School of Dentistry Alumni Association as well. He currently holds the position of Fundraising Chair on the Executive Board of the Alumni Association. Additionally, at the request of the Dean of the UW School of Dentistry, he serves on the Dean’s Club Board, and is also a Regent of the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation.
Dr. Bourne Loves The Community
Community involvement is a priority for Dr. Bourne. He is a large supporter and donor to area school districts, many local sports teams, and various civic organizations, including the Boys and Girls Clubs, and the YMCA.
To acknowledge his outstanding community support, Dr. Bourne was awarded the Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year.
His Favorite Ways To Stay Active
In his free time, Dr. Bourne enjoys staying active by running and participating in multi-sport races, playing soccer, and spending time outdoors by hiking and fishing during the summer months, and snowboarding during the winter. Most of all, Dr. Bourne loves spending time with his family, which includes his wife and three children.
